Welcome to the Curlew Family Practice. We offer modern medical expertise with traditional general practice values. Our aim is to offer a prompt friendly and high quality service. To register please contact our reception to fill in the appropriate forms. We are currently accepting patients from the Havant borough areas.

As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information. Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like. We can use your ideas to improve our online services and further develop the content of this site.

Target Training

All Practices in the SHIP Cluster, Southampton City, Hampshire, Isle Of Wight and Portsmouth must undertake compulsory training days each year.

The aim of this is to provide practices with protected time for co-ordinated, relevant and focused, quality education programmes for all staff  from GP's to reception staff.

The training days will usually occur every 3 months and will involve the Practice closing from 12.00p.m. on the day of training and remaining closed until the following morning.

Provisional dates are Tuesday 4th June, Thursday 19th September, Tuesday 28th January 2014 and Tuesday 18th March 2014

Patients who need to see a Doctor urgently whilst the surgery is closed will have access to the Out of Hours Services during this time. Tel. 111. The Practice will notify patients in advance of these training days by placing posters in the waiting room and updating the website.
